When I start my car, my change oil light comes on. It stays on for about 1-2 minutes and then turns off. Its really quite annoying. Does anyone know what the deal is. It started about a week after I changed my oil and I changed my oil about 2 weeks ago.
I have a 2000, so if anybody knows...????
The Check gauge in the Oil Pan is probally loose and moving around. Were you parked in a driveway or somewhere slanted? It could have thought the oil was low from it leaning to one side.

Did you reset your change oil light. After changing the oil you need to press the trip/reset button and hold it until the change oil light flashes for a second. It will then reset itself. If you have already done that, I have no idea what to do.
