So i've been having an intermittent no spark random stalling situation.

This happened again a while ago but was due to a small crack to the cam shaft position sensor. I've also replaced the crankshaft position sensor.

Normally occurs when i put load on the car, shift gears, or come to a stop.

The car will idle normally when started, but when it refuses to start no spark.

For example driving my car today i came to a stop and it stalled I tried to start it again and nothing. Gave it a little while and it started up again. I've unplugged different wires at the coils when it refuses to start and gives me no spark so I know when it stalls out is because the engine is getting no spark.

Im going to get a code reader tomorrow and check the output signals from the cam shaft sensor but i was wondering if there is anything else I can check?

crankshaft sensor is about 4 months old
cam shaft sensor is about 1 month old
replaced the PCM about 4 months old
replaced ICM about 3 months old
all coils replaced 1 month old
spark plugs changed about 3 months old

    Re: No spark

OK i bit of up update.

I can recreate the stalling now. Every time I wiggle the plastic connection to the ICM it stalls out. so i take it thats where it is losing the spark.

Im going to get some electrical cleaner for the contacts you guys suggest anything else?

Sounds like a good plan! If that doesn't work I would replace the connector.
Not sure if anyone sells those.

Yah im not sure either but if I have to pull one off a junk could I just splice the wires?

Could this small fracture cause any problems?

Anybody know any sites that carry this pigtail connection?

I cleaned the contacts and it still stalls out on me.

Sounds like you have a wire broken inside the plastic, just find which wire will cause it then find where the break is, splice and redo the wire.

how would i go about removing the wire from the plastic then putting it back?

I would just splice it back together then use some heat shrink on it. When I put in the wires for my tranny Speartech harness I pinched the brown wire for the Torque converter lock up and while driving coming to a stop the car would stall, found the wire and cut and spliced it back together , haven't had a problem since. Just need to find the wire thats making it do the problem, a wiring pinout comes in handy of the PCM.

Alot of times on those plastic connectors, if you look real close at the back of the connector, the metal part of the connector on the end of the wire will have a little barb that holds the wire in the plastic. ou can use a screwdriver or something really small to push the barb in which will allow the wire to slide out. It can take some playing around though.
