I have the Z gauges in my car from its "Z cloning days " It works fine and is calibrated to actually tell me the real MPH I am going as opposed to slapping the Z gauges in without the calibration. I dont know who did it or how, but it works.

The work itself isn't hard. I have a cluster that I just haven't installed yet. The problem is though that the tach will be off since it's expecting the counting signal from an 8 but is only seeing it form a 6. Other than that, all the other gauges work fine. There has been some disscusion about this a while back. Some one was playing with a module that would fix the tach, then someone else said all you have to do is swap a resistor from the v6 tach to the v8 tach and it works fine, but that seems a little fishy. I'm not sure what the situation is now.
