        Ok, 1 word: TR55.

But as you could see by those posts, it really doesn't matter. Everyone has their preference and it won't make any difference.

for the most part plugs are plugs and wires are wires...(slightly differnet if you get into nitrous and boost)

I have accels, taylors, bosch, and msds... they all pretty much perform the same.

but for what its worth... I run autolite 605s, I believe, can't remember, a range cooler then stock, read up at clubgp, about alot of n/a L36 guys prefering them. I tried them to check out an issue I had with knock, but had nothing to do with them.

            had TR55s before that.

I am running MSDs with heat sheething related to this thread... (my screenname was MustangEater)

imo a great thread about ignition...

Turban made no sense there so do not go that route, with a non-productive comment like that he will steer you wrong.

I would highly suggest just buying AC Delcos #41-101 Iridiums, NGK TR55's or standard copper NGK's next time BobbyZ72 . Splitfires are not worth the extra money.

I am running the AC Delco Iridiums now and still retain the smoothest idle, therefore no problems. Seafoam that motor of yours then change that oil as well while your under there. Install some high quality wires of your choice with plugs with anti-seize on the threads ( anti-seize is so important ). I have done that and was extremely happy with the results.

This spring, I will be testing Denso Iridiums. Spark plug IT-16 with a gap of .060. This is for our Chevy L36 3.8L V6 motor.

My '91 Firebird runs on them Bosch Platinum +4's. Another great set of plugs that runs clean and still gives me exceptional gas mileage.
