Replacing Plugs and wires today... I cant get ANY of the wires off the sparkplugs at all... how do you pull them off? This car has tubular manifolds on it.

they should pop off, they might be stuck on if its been a while, try lubricating them if not, just break them off if your replacing the wires anyways

First time to take them off is going to be hard. Learn your lesson (once they're replaced) by using dielectric grease.

You can try taking a crescent wrench and opening it up just enough to go around the wire behind the boot, and then twist the wrench.

I just go with a pair of Mechanix Wear M-Pact 2 gloves... nice and padded so you don't bust your knuckles, and lets you really get in there and yank the plugs out. It really does just come down to proper application of force.

Wiggle the wires side to side, and yank hard.
