I had this struggle not too long ago.

You can buy gasket material and make your own. What I did was got high temp copper RTV sealer. takes a little while to dry but if you do it right it should make a good seal, but I kinda did a shotty job the first time so I did it again yesterday.

A little tip make a somewhat tight connection the first time, let the sealant dry then tighten it some more, makes it feel a bit more solid.

remove the egr...buy block off plates.....put some rtv on the back of each of the plates before you bolt them in....no more problem

Or that too. Just depends on your state emission regulations and how kool you are with your mechanic.

Here in CA the technician is supposed to look under the hood to inspect if you have the EGR hooked up. My mechanic doesn't care but I still have it working properly.

nah im good with emissions, and i do mostly everything myself lol.but what kinda of rtv seal should i use cause they are for like gaskets like the throttle etc which never gets hot as headers.
