i have a leak where the egr bolts to the header,air still leaks out,is there a gasket i can make or anything?

I had this struggle not too long ago.
You can buy gasket material and make your own. What I did was got high temp copper RTV sealer. takes a little while to dry but if you do it right it should make a good seal, but I kinda did a shotty job the first time so I did it again yesterday.
A little tip make a somewhat tight connection the first time, let the sealant dry then tighten it some more, makes it feel a bit more solid.

Or that too. Just depends on your state emission regulations and how kool you are with your mechanic.
Here in CA the technician is supposed to look under the hood to inspect if you have the EGR hooked up. My mechanic doesn't care but I still have it working properly.
