I have 2001 camaro finally found were leak is, looks like one of the elbows that is on the tensioner and leads to heater core. Anyone know part # for them?

just go to autozone and tell them you need the 3800 coolant elbows. VERY common part on the 3800 that needs replacing over time. Should come as a two pack from the HELP rack, you will only use the one. -

Be sure to keep track of the O-rings that are on the elbows. You don't want to lose one down a coolant passage in the block.'99 Camaro

Took 3 stops to find autozone had no idea.. kragen had the help catalog so found the part # 47065 they did not have it in stock but went back to autozone and they did.
Just replaced both elbows, both were shot. Both were broken up near hte O-ring on the tensioner. Had to use screwdriver to get the O-ring out of of one and plastic bits. As soon as I got the tensioner off, was obvious that was where the leak was. Was the hidden one so wet behind the tensioner.Comment
