First off, I have a 94 Camaro w/3.4 v6 that I ended up with from a trade. There are a few minor ghosts in the closet as I'm finding out in different areas of the car.

The previous owner bypassed all the radiator fan controls and ran a wire behind the fender, around the door jam and plugged it into a switched lug in the fuse panel. At least he had put an inline fuse in it. I'll have to do some work to correct that.

What baffles me is the plug that is plastic wire tied to the intermediate shaft on the steering column. It has two small wires running to it and has a green connector. It comes from under the engine and I don't see anything from the top that it should plug into. It has a rubber shield that seems to be for insulation.

    Any help would be appreciated.

That is the plug for the oil pressure sending unit. The oil pressure sensor is located in the oil filter housing on the left side of the engine.

Thanks, I figured I'd ask before jacking up the car and crawling around looking for the mate.
