227 mile road trip today. Awesome... New hoses and coolant kept it at a steady 175-180 degrees. Ran excellent...

I need to redo my coolant system. It hits 210 in about 5 minutes, and performance suffers due to it.

For an old car I can't complain.

The trick for me was the 160 degree thermostat. At highway speed it stays steady at or below 180, in heavy Miami traffic it will creep up to about 195-200 with the A/C on. Not too bad at all...

nice good to hear! i took a 360 mile road trip to michigan in mine after i replaced my ac compressor and it ran like a dream

Not quite that far. Up North to West Palm, then South to Homestead, then back to Miami.
