anyone know if I can install a set of 42# fuel injectors on my 3.4L with stock tuning? would i run the risk of damaging my motor or would it even run at all?

Don't even try. I ran 24lber's on my 3.4 and it ran really rich especially during start up at open loop mode. How many lbs of boost are you running?

i'm running 6psi of boost for now. Do you guys recommend an adjustable regulator, the speed shop where i'm getting it tuned said that they don't think it will be necessary. i've got a higher flow fuel pump, but it's being held back by the stock regulator.

I would recommend getting an FMU. Your stock regulator won't hold back the fuel pump because it is only adding more fuel volume.
What kind of tuning is your speed shop doing?

yeah, i've got an fmu installed. as for the tuning, they just looked at my ecu's numbers purchased a certain cable and told me to bring it in when i get the chance. so i'm guessing just a basic computer tune.

yea sounds like the shop you are using has no clue about the 3.4 engine if they think they can just buy a cable.

Use the FMU for upping the fuel with the walbro pump

I hope they do, when i first went to their shop, they kept on calling it a z28 until they finally saw that the intake manifold said 3.4 on it...these guys originally started their shop with american vehicles, but i'm still concerned about how mine will go since it's their first v6 camaro their tuning. I'll let you guys know how it goes
