  • Installed Dynomax 3" Bullet Race muffler

So I got my hot side finished today at the exhaust shop, hope it works out still need to test fit it and once installed have the DP welded up to the exhaust. So I had the 3" Bullet race muffler and said what the hell, I'll have them install it before the axle with a 3" turn down and I still have the big @ss diesil resonator also, It must of taken about 20-30 LBS from the rear which was real good. I love the sound , sounds pretty good at crusing and WOT, has the race sound to it, and flows outstanding. Turn downs before the axle are def. worth it , I should of done this years ago. I love the open rear with no tips or muffler. If I can I will try a sound clip , can't promise anything though. I'll get some pics up here soon.

Yep , it looks like that one and just added a $12 3" turn down from Autozone, plus the big @ss reonator that looks like a CAT.

You know its not going to sound that great on a digital camara, I think the resonator has alot to do with it, but I'll see if I can get a clip , I'm resting for a couple of days. The guys wee 5'7" and I'm 6'4" so the lift was low and I had to hunch over, I was there for about 4-5 hours. Still hurting today, didn't sleep much either.

                [Aussie accent]Crikey, that's not a muffler...that's a preggers tailpipe![/Aussie accent]

I had one of those on the car - the race car - for a while, until I went on a weight loss kick (me and the car) and pulled it in favor of a straight pipe. I didn't notice any difference in volume...but then, I guess the difference between 103db and 105db proabably isn't all that noticeable :D

Definitely post a clip when you get a chance.

Yes, it is pretty much a straight pipe but when you have a 6" round 8" long resonator before it, it not that loud. LOL
