can't get a pic of mine at the moment, but i can tell you the best place to put one is right before the rear axle after the "i-pipe". there's an indentation in the body where it fits perfectly and a boot right beside it to run wires for an electric cutout --- works perfect.
keep in mind the closer you put the cutout to your y-pipe or cat, the louder and raspier it will sound once it's open. i put mine as far down as possible in the area i just mentioned and it sounds amazing wide open with my full exhaust.pacesetters|full 3" borla exhaust|3" stainless e-cutout|slp cai & ram intake|c/f whisper lid|tbs|eibach|kyb|stb|sfc's|adj.lca's & phb|slp fan|b&m t5|180*|z06 17x9.5|8000k hids|hptuners|d/s rotors

mine is right after the ypipe and before my cat. yea it is LOUD and shakes the passenger seat pretty good. ha. like running open headers pretty much

I have mine right before the axle. Wish I put it up closer to the front. I have a turbo and a 3" downpipe. The turbo really muffles the sound. I have no cat and cant tell to much of a difference between cutout open and closed.SLP CAI, RK Sport headers, P&Ped heads and intake, GT2 cam, Upgraded valvetrain, Z28 rear axle with 4.10s Tx Spd tune, Z06 rims, 2.5\" exhaust to flowmaster, 160* thermo, B&M ripper, upgraded ignition, rockford fosgate 12\" with sony xplode amp and HU.

the DMH or DHM can't remember what name it is. They have great warranty and even warranty them after the warranty run on. QTP suck from what I have heard and seen and its hard to get them to warranty them when they are in warranty. I may just get one and wait on the e-cutout cause I want to finish up my exhaust.

QTP does suck...bad. I broke my first one (not QTP's fault, HUGE speed bump on military base) so I bought another one. I had the first one for over 2 years and it worked great so I thought I'd give them another shot. Fvck that. My new one lasted not even 1 month and it died. Im looking into the one from Summit or maybe Badlandz.
Not to mention the QTP switches are terrible as well.sigpic

I have badlanz also, I talked to him on the phone when I was ordering mine and he was real nice and helpful... I imagine if you ever had a problem with his that he would go the extra mile to make sure you were satisfied, but I never had any problems with mineRebuilding the engine... Building a custom front end... T-top conversion... Custom rear hatch..
