    Re: Intake Prices.

I put on a k&n FIPK last October, and I've loved it ever since. No problems, better throttle response (I had it stock for a year, then had the air silencer delete until the FIPK). I'd recommend it, especially since whisper lids are hard to find from what I've heard.

I would try and find used lid or FiPK....seeing as Fipk is so damn pricey. I honestly think i got the last whisper lid ever made for the 3.8v6

Yeah, I like the look of it in mine. Shop around a bit on the internet, I got mine from my parents for my birthday, but it was $315 +s/h from a website I found using froogle with them.

For reference, Summit Racing currently has it for just under $400.

                  Re: Intake Prices.

FIPK is junk. If you want HOT underhood air being sucked in, that's the intake for you.

I have the Chrs1313 Ram Air, FTP 98mm lid, and K&N filter. Granted the lid might be a little overkill for a V6, but any LS1 lid will work with the right silicone hose.
