this is what I did with a $5 4" pvc coupler. Shaved the lid and cut out the plastic below the filter and cut out all the flaps. Gotta be good for atleast... 50 extra horses or so. hahaha.

that won't work for him since he has a 98 with the angled tb. ;)
yes yes but. im kinda lookiing for something a little more clean...i show my engine to ALOT of people. (people love seeing how clean it is. being that im a detail artist) I need something that looks professional.
Are you here to watch pics on how clean the engines are, or to ask help improving your CAI?
Camaro99\'3.8, original spoil package (no body mods...PROUDLY), K&N, Lid 3800II, SLP CAI, Flowmaster, Z28Chrome Tips, 180* Thermostat.
ok. well at the moment. It does not look that "pretty" but i was planning on refining it.
I think im going to put the lid back on. but not until i figure something out.
I WILL NOT use dryer vent or anything remote.
I cant stand intakes built out of FULL flex stuff...it kind of defeats the purpose of an efficient intake. (cold sure but...smooth-flowing no.) I just spoke with someone the other day. Apparently there is a new turbo setup for our cars....im strongly thinking about getting it. (AND NO I DONT NEED COUNSELED ON HOW MY INTAKE CURRENTLY IS) I was just seeing how things went. i was feeling creative. IM SURE all of you at a certain point have considered ideas completely insane.
so wait, your going to buy the turbo setup with no turbo just to have some of the exhaust tubing from it? why don't you just go to a muffler shop and have them fab it up for you?
Hey guys. For starters I’ve always been a big car guy, I love all types of cars and can appreciate all types of engineering. I’ve always been a Chevy...
