  • A few questions

I know alot of information is all over this site. i've been reading on Tb spacers and based on what i've read it seems a waste of money, but my question is what kinds of mods are actually worth while. I have a 2000 camaro 3.8 with a k&n cold air and a flow master dual exhaust. and a hypertech programmer. I would like to increase the overall performance of the car without ruining my reliability. this car has been really good to me and i'd like to return the favor.

Headers? Spark plug cables, lowering springs (kinda for looks), carbon fiber stuff, weight reduction.. shift kits, maybe gears and LSD or something. plenty of stuff!... but welcome to the forum!

      Re: A few questions

Don't mod it too much engine wise then with FI or nitrous becuase things happen , even with the best builds. Like said headers, 3" exhaust, weight reduction either be fiberglass hood , batt. put in the rear, suspension is the best , pricey but you get what you pay for. Believe me I have it all done and its a nice ride once you figure out the right combo and settings. Hptuners will give you alot more to offer than hypertech and a wideband 02 sensor setup is always best. between Hptuners and a wideband you can tune your own car for any thing you want, thats the best part and also deleting codes for emissions.LOL

96' Camaro M5 to A4 conversion, alot of mods . GT35R Turbo full suspension. Built engine

Man i really wish I would have known about the hptuner before I spent close to 400 dollars on my hypertech. :( headers are prolly gonna be the best bang for my buck aren't they?
