And why do you want to remove it?

you can make a delete pretty easily for it. But why would you want to remove it unless you are looking at some extreme weight reduction?

Removing the EGR and installing block plates is not a good idea - the EGR system actually is good for engine operation.

I second that. And if its that tube you will have to replace the tube itself. not the EGR

Just get a EGR simulator from ZZP if you want to delete it. Mine was leaking because the tube on the EGR was too long and would not seal correct on the pacesetters. I got tired of the nasty annoying leak and deleted it.

I just used some copper permatex around where the egr goes into the header and intake. Works fine.

So FirebirdGT, how does the EGR help besides reducing emissions? If you were to remove it and tune it out, would you notice anything different besides emissions?
