2.5" piping, 2.5" dynomax super turbo, 3" cherrybomb 45 slant tips. Sounds great thru all the rpms. never really rev it in neutral to kno how that sounds but for the price, it's the best sound you can get in my opinion, aside from borla.
TSP (Texas Speed & Performance) Rumbler is a 3" single to a 2.5" twin out with a big bullet muffler in the I pipe. It sounds good at idle and it is a screamer at WOT.
if you think you have rasp now, remove that cat and youll embarrass even the biggest of ricers it will be so bad.... been there done that. sure it sounds lower, but you cant change a single gear without rasp
I haven't had a cat in a few years. I find that cats and resonators don't do anything good on my car in terms of rasp. They just tone down the deeper sounds that sound good. My car started sounding a lot meaner after rockers and headers went on.
As for removing the cat - Not an option in my book. I am a firm believer in what they do (reducing emmisions.)
Seems that would increase the rasp even more, anyway. Plus, it would throw SES codes
and I would have to get the code removed from the pcm to pass emmisions here in AZ.
It's funny, but my car threw the P0420 SES light maybe ONCE the whole time after I removed the cat and before I removed the code. I drove around without removing the code for like half a year. I think our motors run fairly clean. I had the code removed any way though just in case. The post cat O2 is still in there though lol.

if you drove the car for 6 months with the check engine light on i think it would be hard to say that the light only came on once.
as long as you keep the o2 sensors removing the cat usually wont throw a light

What? When did I say i drove with the light on.... Wtf are you talking about? I have a scanner obviously I cleared it after the 1 time i threw it. Then after 6 months I removed (deleted) the code all together so it never had a chance to come up again.
The whole point of the post cat O2 sensor is to determine the performance of the cat.... So yes in most cases it should throw a light most of the time when the cat is bad or gone. I surprised that the code was NOT being thrown since it usually DOES get thrown on virtually all cars I've driven if you gut or remove the cat.

WTF are you talking about? On any OBDII (96 and newer are all OBDII) controlled engine removing the cat will always through the SES light unless you tune the codes out of the PCM or use an O2 emulator to trick the PCM into thinking the CAT is still there.

X2, or have pcm programing to show no error for that O2 sensor.

i know what obdII is, and if you leave the o2 sensors in it usually wont throw an ses light. maybe it does in the f bodies, but in most other cars it wont.
A friend of mine suggested that I put a set of those 12" cherry bombs on after the muffler. Would that do anything to tone it down? (get rid of some rasp?) Or would I be wasting my money?

Buying mufflers to muffle your muffler seems kind of hokie to me. Just buy one of the mufflers recomended by the people here.
Like I said before, I'm real happy with the sound of my flowmaster but I'm sure the other recomendations are good too.
