I've been wondering about this. I think I need to ditch the borla because every time I smog my bird I'm borderline failing. Borla is close of course during smog. Once the smog is done I run it open again, which frees up some HP.
If I go with the dual I could put 2 cats on it and make it legal. But I wonder if they are better than an open borla?
I would check your set up.. it shouldn't be that hard to pass emissions what are you failing what year is your car all the testing is OBD2 now not rollers

I don't have OBD2 anymore. I went with Random Tech Cat. I just read somewhere that Calif. might not accept Borla because they are always borderline.
