Where my egr tube connects to my headers is leaking and causing ticking. My gasket is damaged and the tube is not lining up with the headers. I can't find a new egr tube, I don't think they make them anymore. What are my options? Remove my egr and get block off plates? http://www.hawksmotorsports.com/95-0...ck-off-plates/

What are the negatives to removing my egr? I can't really afford a tuner, will I have to tune it?

If im already going to have to tune for no egr, should I still buy an 02 sim for my cat? or should I just tune for my cat and for no egr at the same time?

whats the easiest/cheapest option a tune or 02 sim for a 3"cat?

I would try some high temp rtv and see if that stops the leak, no sense in deleting it if it still works. Definitely get the O2 sim for the cat. They still make egr tubes their around $40.

My bad, wrong egr tube, might want to block it off, do you have emissions where your at? Yeah their discontinued theres one ob ebay thats used and it has the tube and egr and its $63.

Thanks. There's no emissions here. Steve How does yours run without the egr, do you notice any loss of power or poor gas mileage?

do you think the used egr will seal right without ticking? Read about other 3.8 f-body's having similar problem with headers.

I have a cam , stall and 65lb injectors so mpg doesn't really apply to me.lol Plus Im going to be adding my turbo back. If you dont have emissions i would just block it off. Connection type should be the one FirebirdGT posted.
