    Am I correct in thinking there are 4 15mm bolts that hold it together? Also do you unhook it before the cat or after? Thanks [img]smile.gif[/img]

    I don't think you can do it before the cat. I unhooked my stock exhaust after the cat and it sounded like a pissed off tractor LOL
    It was fun to make noise though, car didn't really like running like that though. Ran better with the exhaust on.
    If you wanna try though, it's after the cat and I think there are only 2 bolts, you will probably need some penetrating lube to get the bolts out.

      for my 3.4L it was teh 2 botls ona ball type clamp after the cat...

          i did the same thing and my car ran better with it on too.

            i have an 02 bird and i did it after the cat. but when i put it back on it didnt want to stay there long so i had to weld it together.

              15mm if I remember correctly...


              or 1/2 in... I get them mixed up... haven't had that setup in 1.5 years [img]smile.gif[/img]
