  • TSP duals on V6

Hello all, I did a search but nothing came up. I have the rumblerX (Texas speed duals) on my Z28 and had a friend ask if they would fit on a V6. I didn't know what to tell them, so I figured this site would be my best bet.
Edit: or share the info on any dual's setup you have on your car so I have something to work with.

I looked over some of your times, I like!

Hey Kyle. I have been considering trying this to see how difficult it would be, but nobody has attempted it as of yet. Does your friend have headers, or stock manifolds? For my Pacesetter headers, I know for sure that it would take fabrication from the header to the start of the true duals...reason being that the RumblerX is emant for LS1 longtubes, which exit MUCH farther back than the V6 shorties or manifolds. I would guess a good exhaust shop could make it happen in a matter of hours, for under $150. If your friend is in Lubbock also, you all might ask the guys at A&B Muffler on Ave Q, or one of the other exhaust shops. Hope this helps!!

Thanks a lot, I'll let him know he will probably have to go custom. Joe(owner) does do some nice work, he just won't do anything w/o cats. He acts like it's illegal or something! I Still Can't believe no one has duals on their V6Fbods though, don't the SRT-4's have duals?
What about pacesetters into 2.5" duals with an X style crossover going through some chambered mufflers. Do you think a 3.8L would lose any low end torque with this setup?
Then again: Everyone told me I would lose all of my low-end when I got my 3" duals, but in reality I only lost a negligible amount under 2k rpms.

just wondering, how would you do true duals on an inline 4 cylinder?

2.5" duals would be way on the big side for a stock motor, i wouldnt go over 2.25"

I have true duals with a built in H.. it's not hard.. 2.5's are to big for a stock motor.. Though I have them...:)
