• Looking for exhaust ...

Well ... I've finally made up my mind, about one thing at least. Let the mods begin! Ok, so I have a flowmaster muffler on now. I want a full catback system. I will most likely put headers on too (Pacesetter). Should I ... stick with flowmaster and get the American Thunder system? Or something else? Any suggestions? Thanks, guys!

I would keep the muffler you have now. Go ahead and get headers and a 3 inch I pipe. That should be good enough. The flowmaster catbacks are almost 300 bucks, I'm sure you could get the I pipe cheap, but if you cant, go ahead and get the full catback system.

i did my exhaust custom cause i had just a flow through summit and jegs. used the i-pipe and over-axle pipe in 3" for the LS1 and the rest is custom. it was cheap than a system

Full catback would be nice. SLP Loudmouth is a good system for sound/performance. Give me a call or drop me an IM if you need suggestions.

Wow ... thanks guys. I am definately going to get a full catback system, I just don't know which 'brand'. My boyfriend has SLP on his firebird, and it sounds awesome, but I want something different. Ha! I will probably go with American Thunder. I've heard good things about it. Keep the suggestions coming though! Thanks!!

Oh, Viper ... I checked out FTPP ... didn't see Flowmaster. Did I miss it? Anything better?

I would go with the American thunder cat back, and a high flow cat for a nice deep mellow tone.
But for something lound and insane go with the loudmouth.

no reason to spend that kind of money. get a 3" electric cutout and keep your muffler. this way you only end up spending maybe $200 including install and you get the best performance possible. also when you dont want to hear the loud exhaust you can just flip the switch and close the cutout (making it as tame sounding as it is now).

Check it out now...I have completely updated the cat-back systems section. If you don't see the new ones, reload from your browser while on that page and you will get all of them.
