i know that the '98s had an angled TB...and that pretty much prevents the "home depot" air silencer mod. my question is, what can i do to replace the air silencer without screwing anything up?

Well you can get the whisper lid for the 98 or you can still do the HD mod by using high heat dryer ducting or something similar.98 Silver Camaro V6<br />15.238 @91.74 w/ 2.288 60\'<br />Mods: K&N, FTRA, Pacesetter Headers, Spec 3 Clutch, 160 Thermo, TSP Rumbler, 3\" Catco, Whisper Lid, 3.42\'s w/LSD, Aluminum DS, Man Fan Switch<br /><br /> <a href=\"http://www.cardomain

if i go with high-temp dryer ducting, i'll replace the rubber hoses that connect the box to the air silencer and the AS to the throttle body, right? if so, how big should i get? and what to do with the the sensors that go in the silencer?\'98 Camaro - SOLD<br />Best E/T: 15.489 @ 86.48 MPH<br />60\': 2.131<br /><a href=\"http://members.cardomain.com/skorpion317\" target=\"_blank\">members.cardomain.com/skorpion317 </a><br />1998 Saturn SL2<br />Official <a href=\"http://www.njdisturbance.com\" target=\"_blank\">NJ Disturbance</a> bracket racer

do a search...i found pics of this..i just did the dryer high temp dryer vent on my 98...take the air silencer an both hoses and chuck em as far as ya can...get yourself two hose clamps..one for your lid and one for your tb..take a drill bit...preferably a spade bit an drill a hole in the back of your lid right next to the dryer vent..i believe i used a half inch bit..i noticed quite a difference from 35 an up...98 bird Y87 SLP cai Msd Super Conducters Msd coils Splitfire Triple Platinums big bad Corvette servo
