It says it bolts to the catalytic converter, yet the S-bend doesnt look quite right. That and it looks like the I and overaxle are one continuous pipe, which is going to be a real b!tch to get on wit anyhting less than a hoist.

I had it on my car. It was the first exhaust system I put on, mainly because it was the cheapest. The price for it seems to fluctuate often.
It was pretty easy to install. I did no welding..just clamped everything. There was a small problem with the system that I got. I don't know if every system was like that, or if it was just a mistake on mine. It's kind of hard to explain, but the exiting tail pipes that bend and connect to the muffler,,,they were the same size as the holes in the muffler. Long process short, I hacked off part of the piping, because it got smaller before the bend,,so I was able to get away with that. I also had to grind down a flange,,which was a big PITA.
In the end, I was pretty happy with it at the time. I never put tips on it, and the exit pipes were 2.75" or 2.5", but the rest of the piping was 3". It had a nice idle, and good low rpms. Of course, up top it was ricey,,but every V6 exhaust is like that.
I had it on for about ~ 6-7 months, and changed to the SLP Loudmouth. I left my whole Pacesetter exhaust system in my mechanics shop. Everything still bolted up,,nothing cut. If it's something you're interested in, I could sell it to you cheap. That is, if my mechanic didn't toss..which I think he might of. It was definitly quieter than the Loudmouth though. I had it on with stock cat and stock manifolds.
BTW, It's actually a Pacesetter exhaust system.

Yeah, give me an email and let me know if he tossed it or not. I want to tear my cat-back apart because it's starting to rattle, even though I welded it several times. I'll be replacing it soon.
Yep! Still using it, although I changed out the muffler after a year. Besides being a direct bolt on it is made of aluminized steel which a lot of the other manufacturers (not Borla) use let's face it, if they are all mandrell bent, then the biggest difference in these systems would be the muffler. I changed mine, because I wanted something quieter, but overall I am pleased. No rusting and I've had it for over three years and my car is a daily driver.

Camaro_SLP did you loose any low-end power from it being 3in on the 3.4 cause i would like to go for it but i'm scared that i'll loose some of the little low end i have

Honestly, I felt no difference off the line. I did notice a better feeling up top compaired to the stock exhaust. Don't be afraid of loosing any power down low though..If you do, it's not enough to be noticeable, and the pros of aftermarket exhaust would outweight that con.

No Prob.
No big hurry, just in the mood for welding a new exhaust up. The pipe is starting to rattle near the stock "S" bend even though I welded it, and I like to change things up every now 'n then anyway. I'll also hack the brand new Jegs U-Bend into an "S" bend. It'll fill up my down time when I get home from work.
You wont actually lose the power it will just not feel like it is as fast. You will actually be gaining. Plus you need the 3 inch for any heavy mods that you will do

hockeyman,,I went to my mechanics shop tonight. My exhaust is still there in one piece. I would have to saw the system down to fit it in a box to ship. I would obviously choose places that would be easy to weld back together. The muffler is brownish in color..I think some water got in it when I had it on and just burnt it off, causing a color change. The tail pipes are also a little rusty looking. Otherwise, it looks good. If you're still interested in this exhaust, we can take it to email. Send me your zip code so I can get an estimate on shipping for you.
