I was always wondering if my cat isnt clogged because i run a terrible 1/4 mile. One person suggested that the O2 sensors were bad and should be replaced. At the auto shop they told me a bad O2 throws a SES light. Tonight i cut my old exaust off so i coudl put my new flowmaster on. Well, i jsut had to see what open exaust woudl sound like so i started the car. No SES light came on. I let the car run for probably over ten minutes. Is this normal? Does it jsut take a couple miles before it throws a code? Do I more than likely have a problem with and O2 sensor? In advance thanks for any help.

Your not in Canada are you? I'm begining to wonder if the 02 sensors are programed differently up here or something. I'v had my cat off for about 4 months now. No light. Resetted pcm/ecm many times. My car doesn't through a code for a misfire either, you can unhook a plug wire and it wont flash the light. (pulled my iat sensor once and it set the light - so it works)
