  • Need New O2 Sensors, Need Info/Help

Well, they just started doing emissions tests around here in Athens recently so I gotta bolt a cat on for the test, not a problem. But I have an error code for two malfunctioning o2 sensors too. So I'm gonna replace those too. (They are the pre-cat and post-cat sensors, not the manifold ones. I've checked NAPA and Autozone and they want like $100-110 per sensor for the heated ones. I found some online from Ebay, but my question is, are the two sensors next to the cat (pre and post sensors) the exact same type and part number sensor? Also, does the heated sensor work any better and are there any specific brands of sensors that work better than others for more accurate readings? (Bosch etc..) Gotta do this soon so help is appreciated.

I have used Bosch before, and they were very good. I think just spend the money and do it right. E-bay may be good for things like drive shafts, wheels, etc... but not sure if I would trust it for electronic sensors. Just my .02 cents. ;)
