I would get the Flowmaster 40 series. I've heard it on a late 80's Z24 Cavalier 2.8 V6, bored to 3.1, and it sounds very deep with 2.5 inch piping

Dominic, you think the 80 would be better than 40?

i was thinkin about hte 40 series but it only has one outlet :( im guesin all third gens came wit dual outlets, unlike the v6 4th gens which only come wit one, and mine has dual outlets so i need the 80 series

You can have 2 mufflers. Ive seen a lot of 3rd gens with true dual exhaust.

For a V8, I would go 40s over 80s, BUT for the V6, get the 80 series. 40s sound like garbage on our motor.
