Mine barely fits, the clasps often pop off due to this. I also dont think it has a very good seal, I was getting better et's with my stock airbox. Is this something others are experienceing or am I alone, maybe the wrong part for my car was sent?

sometimes mine will occasionally pop the clamp open as well. This means that it isn't on right. All I had to do was unclamp both and push down and inward (towards the TB). While holding it down and in clamp both sides back on and you should be set. To test it just take your fist and punch lightly on the top of the airbox. If it unclamps then it's not on right but if it stays down you're set.

I re-installed my stock lid improperly once and had the exact same problem.. you gotta make sure that those tabs on the back of the lid are in properly.. if not the clasps will pop off..-Brad

The key is to push the lid back farther so that the front lip of the lid is in the groove and not in front of the goove of the airbox. It will look like its too far back but its not, the claps will lock down tight and you'll never have that issue again.2002 5-spd NBM Camaro

Once again, Dominic is exactly on the money. You have to make sure the tabs in the back are in right and the lip in the front is in the groove.I solemnly swear I am up to no good.
