• Finally! A Magnaflow Clip

I got tired of everyone bashing it so I decided to make a clip.
Keep in mind, I have only done the muffler.
Stock I Pipe
Stock S Pipe
Stock Cat
Stock Y Pipe
Stock Manifolds (Not even the 98+ ones)
This was in nuetral also.
If Enough people want me to, I will take the laptop out and get a "ride along clip".
It is the startup, some idle, me slowly revving to about 2500, then me hitting the gas really fast up to about 3000 RPMS. If I was on the road I would just mash the gas for ya, but in nuetral, we all know what happens.
Here it is:
Magnaflow on a 3800.

Sounds nice, there. The muffler shop at which I had my muffler put on told me that dynomax and magnaflow sounded very similar... but I have not heard a magnaflow in person.

sounds exactly like the flowmaster 80 at idle, and at rev. Id like to hear it at throttle to see what it sounds like in the upper ranges. Althoughthe 80 series is a tad louder, but almost exactly the same.

I paid $80 for the muffler. 25 each for the tips. WIth labor and everything (fabricating the muffler to tip pipes) it was like $250.

sounds like a flow with throttle, for real.

Its a magnaflow....
Now, why would anyone bash magnaflow and say flowmaster is the shiz-nizzy?
If they sound the same, and magnaflow is straight through, then it seems better to me!
Every performance shop in town recommended magnaflow and hated flowmaster....
I am very satisfied!

Its like a flow only quieter, and when you give it a little gas it gets quiet first wheras the flows get louder until about 2800. Different resonant frequency, similar sound note though.

Yeah its quiet at idle and gets louder on the way up through the rpms... (Instead of ricing).

Have you noticed any loss in low end torque with the straight through magnaflow?

It sounds like my dynomax at idle BEFORE I got my highflow cat.

If you add a high flow cat you'll get a better lope at idle. My muffler is a stainless with only one outlet but I like it. 3.5" slash tip. Sounds like a Le Mans car. Yours sound good. First time I heard a dual outlet magnaflow.
