ok here's the difference. It sounds more hollow than flowmasters. I like the revs however. Also at idle it sounds more like a hum (no I'm not talking about that whine in the file :D ). The Flows actually gurgle a bit on the way down from the revs and at idle it lops a bit (sounds like a mild cam). I'm not putting down Magnaflow, it's an OK muffler, but IMO there are better choices in a similar price range (Flowmaster, Dynomax, Edelbrock, etc...)

None at all.

EDIT - I don't care if everyone loves it, I just got tired of people discrediting it without hearing it. Nobody has got anything bad to say about it now that theres a clip and most people are actually surprised by it. If anyone doesn't like it though, thats cool with me, its all a matter of personal preference, but I am going to stick up for it when people won't even put it on a list of mufflers available.

magnaflow is great

i have full 2.5inch true dual catback on my cobra

all stainless steel, very good quality compared to crapmaster

heres a comparison of flows and magnaflow side by side

they're delta series 40 by the way and the magnaflow mufflers are magnapacks

silver car= flowmaster
black car = magnaflow

and this one is

blue car = stock
silver car = flows
black car = magnas

What gurgle? It sounded pretty wussy to me but then again, I'm spoiled by the nice 3.4L sound ;)

yea that sounds pretty much sounds identical to mine, but then again, we have basically the same exact exhaust set up so far. But yea i think magnaflows are awsome too

Avenger that is a nice clip. I like the sound of that black stang with the magnaflow. However, since it is a Ford could it sound a bit different than our cars?

I know fords use over head cams, different intakes, and so on that could make a differance.

Anyone got a comparison like avengers clips with some 3.8 firebirds?

why would you wish for that?

our exhaust sounds pretty decent, some better then others, at idle and through 2800 rpms, go higher they rasp. thats the nature of our engine. look at mike huff video, car sounds mean as hell at idle revs it and you can tell theres a 6 because it rasps out. theres no way to fully avoid this and have a loud muffler.

I think someone should take all of the exhuast clips, with a list of mods and put them in the mods encyclopedia for people to select a muffler..
Anyone else think this is a great idea??
