So I've never done a high flow cat before. All my previous cars like this one were/are OBD1 and when I drove them (The Probe GT Turbo & Firebird Formula WS6) shops didn't care about taking off the cat and welding in a straight pipe for me.. Now nobody will do it
So I'll just be doing a high flow cat converter but what I want to know is if I get a 3" high flow cat with a 3" inlet and 3" outlet how much of a pain in the *** is it going to be to hook up to the stock exhaust on the inlet side? I plan on getting a set of headers sometime down the road this year but I want to know if I should just wait or what. I already have to replace the flange on my stocker and I have a feeling that after 125000 miles the stocker wont last much longer anyways...
