This is what I have opted to put on mine There are some sound clips. I love the sound, and it was cheap. Headers(Pacestter for mine because it is a 3.4) to tips for 360 shipped. B&B and borla are great choices if you have the money. My Car http://members.cardomain.com/tucsoncamaro
3 inch flowmaster catback system, with ceramic coated pacesetter headers,3 inch cat,K&N FIPK

Hahah, the debate is so endless that you will never find the answer you're looking for on this board. Get something tried and true and decide if you like it. If you don't then switch. Mufflers don't cost that much.
Some good ones are:
Flowmaster
Dynomax
B & B Tri Flo
TSP Rumbler (I've never heard one but everyone here that has one says they're good)
Borla (costly, but good quality and sound, kind of quiet compared to other brands.)
SLP Loudmouth (this isn't actually a muffler, it's a resonator, the loudest of the group I've listed.)
Magnaflow
I like my Flowmaster, it was raspy as hell at first but now that it's been on for a year and a half its really burned in and sounds about as good as anything can on a 3800 II.-Eric
2002 Navy Blue Camaro...Striped and Stalled. 35th Anniversary SS wheels
Best ET: 15.384 @ 88.32 on street tires
Project Whitney: Goal, 14.0 1/4 by summer 2008.
