Raising Air Box

Hey guys dose any one know where i can find some detailed instructions for raising the air box on a camaro i know how to do it put if anyone knows where i can find some instr. so i will know bolt lengths and stuff thanks.

i did this mod in about 20 minutes. its easy.

all you have to do is remove the 4 screws that hold the lid assembly in place and put rubber washers (2-4) under it where the bolts go through so it rests on them. the stock bolts will still work with this, but dont overtighten them, or the mod will be useless as the washers will be crushed.

whats this supposed to do... just raise air lid let more air in... if you have SLP Ram air kit will it work also or will it mess up the air goin in.. because the kit came with rubber piece to block off the front of the air box?

The raised airbox would defeat the purpose of the rubber piece that is supposed to cover the front because the intention of installing the rubber peice is to force the box to suck in cold air from the metal plates underneath the box (CAI)
