Come one...come all and hear my Flowmaster 80 Series. What I have is in the sig.

http://www.markschonfeld.com/v6_camaro_w_flowmaster.wav

BTW two problems...one when I turn the ignition my microphone decided to take a crap and it makes a horrible screech...you'll know it when you hear it :D

and also sorry about the bad quality because I recorded it onto a microphone and then I had a labtop microphone record the playback from the first mic and then used that...it's the best I could do. Enjoy. THIS SOUND FILE DOESN'T DO THE MUFFLER JUSTICE THOUGH. IT'S JUST NOT THE SAME, BUT YOU GET THE GENERAL IDEA.

sound quality better = yes
does your muffler sound like mine - no not at all sorry. First off in the name of the file it says it's a stock catback and well that could be why. Mine's a lot deeper and not as much of a drone. Thanks for the heads up tho

That was just a muffler thrown on my previous V6 A4 2000 Firebird I was hoping it might sound similar but if it doesn't - oh well I tried.

I like it 99Camaro it has a nice mean rumble to it. The bigger i-pipe make a big difference evidently. What did you do at the s-pipe?

it's just Z28 piping from the cat to my muffler if that helps answer it for ya.

The car sounds nice, crappy recording though. I want to record mine, just have to figure out how. Was it you that I was telling how to chop off the end of the stock cat to make it 3"? How did that go? Did you run into problems almost melting the honey comb filter while welding? They kept trying to tell me it would when they were doing mine, they didn't know that it wasn't in there. How much of it would an exhaust shop do? How much did you have to do yourself?

no I don't think I was the person. I had everything done at different times. The muffler/tips were done at one point, and then the I-pipe at another. I had the shop install the pipe for me for $120 parts/labor and then an additonal $40 to fix up the O2 sensor properly.

Oh and yea...real crappy recording...can't help that.
