  • Speaking From New Experience, NEVER REMOVE CAT!!!!!!!!!!

Well, my car was straight piped (no muffler or cat and 2.75" I-pipe), it sounded pretty decent but kinda raspy top end. Was running quite rich too. Just put on a Carsound High-Flow cat (still no muffler and w/2.75" pipe), results are:

    1. Downshifts much easier now for some reason (no joking)

    2. No more excessive RPM dropping when slowing down.

    3. Raspy sound mostly gone, nice and deep and very aggressive.

    4. No more *!%$ty smell from exhaust.

    5. Rich condition is completely gone, will see if it returns or not soon enough.

    6. Hello Mr. Torque, long time no see!

Everything seems to be much much much better with it on, so you get the idea. By the way the cat cost me $67 shipped for a warrantied 3" in/out NEW Carsound Cat on Ebay, check em out!

Forgot to add, crossdrilled and cadmium coated rotors and carbon fiber pads going on tomorrow, will post results of that too after installed.

Rotors are the crossdrilled KVR rotors from fasttoys with the optional cadmium coating on both and some KVR carbon fiber pads. I'll try and get you some pictures, but for now, here's a good idea what they'll look like:
