• Dynomax Super Turbo $565 US

I called a local muffler shop today, and they told me it would cost $881CDN ($565US) for a dynomax cat-back, installed.

Is this a good deal, or should I just get a flowmaster muffler with some tips.

Exhaust is exhaust, to a point. Spend no more than $150 on everything for a cat-back. Or just do a muffler and tips, you're pocket will thank you. You won't notice much more than 1 hp or a very minute bit of track performance for all that $500. Take $100, get a muffler and tips, and then use $100 or so for an intake, and $300 for, um, booze.

He's ripping you off. Installation should be no more than 150USD and about 150USD for the catback.

i'd still go with dynomax, but find somewhere else to do it. muffler should be $50, i pipe no more than $100 brand new, a used one from a v8 fbody would be alot cheper, and labor $100, no more than $150.

I paid a little under $275 US for everything on my exhaust. So I'm guessing that is way to high. Mine was done by Rainbow Mufflers. They normally are good on prices. Also those dynomax super turbos are the CHEAPEST mufflers In the world.

i just barely got to $150 on my muffler and tips.. dynomax muffler - $45 from jegs w/ free s/h. chrome tips - $25 each and 'bout $70 'er so for labor and add some taxes in there somewhere.. couldn't imagine the pipe from the cat to the muffler adding over 300 bucks to the price

I would go with dynomax over flowmaster, flowmaster sounds decent on a v8 but imo to raspy on our v6, borla and triflow sound much deeper at higher rpm imo i have had borla and triflow and my friend had flowmaster dynomax and now triflow

Or try NO muffler with a high flow cat and a bigger i-pipe, best sounding exhaust i've ever had or heard on a 6 and i'll never change it.
