  • Possible Header Leak, help needed.

Hey guys, I've been away for awhile but now I'm back I need help w/ a question.

I'm about to purchase RKsport Headers. I know everyone has had problems with the two bolt flanges warping and causing leakage. What is the best way to fix this? I need to have the two bolt flanges cut off and three bolt flanges welded on correct? Is there a thicker gasket or another way to fix this?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Just get stock gaskets from gmpartsdirect. This was just talked about recently. Do a search and i'm sure the correct part number is there. You may also want to weld the header to y-pipe connection.

I don't want pacesetter headers. I'm going to get the rksport ones. I just want to know the best way to stop any leak problems.
