[EDIT: So what I was trying to do was open the stock cat, and put some 3 inch pipe in place of stock 2.25 S pipe....Update and questions on the bottom]
Who has done this? What did you replace the S-pipe with? Was the outlet really 3 inches? Most people say the outlet is 3" before the reducer, but someone that is fairly reliable told me it is only 2.75".
I have a pair of 45* bends coming in sometime, and I want to know how straightforward this modification will be (although I'll be explaining it to a mffler shop, not doing it myself)
