Well I just got my car a little under a month ago...its my first car (99 bird). I want the car to sound much better then the stock exhaust. I have almost 500 to spend...whats the best sound I can get for the best price? I want something sounding mean at idle...and something thats not goin to give me a high rasping noise over 3k RPMs. Anybody have any personal experience?

Edelbrock is a little quieter and less raspy than the Flowmaster. Remember, the louder it gets, the worse it sounds, in general.

Maybee thast what I need, I have a 3inch setup with a carsound and maybee I just haven't heard it in a long time from the outside, but it's kinda getting on my nerves. I mean i got a compliment on it an hour ago but still, it's like there has to be something more. Maybee i'll get some headers one day.
