Should get my tips tomorrow I hope! My car kind of comes in line after customers as far as asthetic stuff goes, understandable.

matt,my biggest question before going ahead is...

in the pics you have the bullet right near where the ypipe would bolt to,so to put a cat is there enough room between the bullet and the ypipe,or would i have to get into cutting and adapting?

sorry, just by looking at the pics, doesnt seem to be enough room, then again the stock cat on my car is long as f***k so i might be looking at it wrong....

Good question. You do need the SLP install/adapter kit. It would be an absolute PITA to install without it IMO. But with it, I just had to saw off one edge of the install peice from SLP, and everything else was complete bolt on.

ps....The sound clip will be replaced today by a MUCH smaller one, as I finally found a compressor that worked. 56K guys, you should be able to download it by noon anyway!

Would you need that adapter kit if u were gettin a car sound highflow cat? If so what is the part number?

Yes, you should still need it, or an exhaust shop can surely fab one up for you, then you would just need the LS1 style hangers. SLP Part number 30045 (includes the elbow peice to adapt, and new hangers). I can get that for you as well if you like.

I haven't priced it at an exhaust shop, but I don't really see why it should be that expensive either. An exhaust shop could make one pretty easily I think, then you can get the LS1 style hangers you'll need from your GM dealership fairly cheap also.

Prolly a stupid question but will this fit a 3.4? Or is it for just the 3.8?

                          It is a stupid question!

Any exhaust system will fit an F-Body, 93-02, with the exection of hangers.

no it doesn't but You need to buy the slp part that listed above in the post or have exhaust shop make you one up to make it fit. also if i was you get a highflow cat if u don't have one.
