  • 3 inch I pipe?

Ok say I wanna get a 3 Inch pipe from my cat to my flowmaster. Can I do that with my stock cat? I just wanna get the pipe for now and maybe do that cat later if I do that cat at all. Anyone know how much just the pipe from the cat to the muffler could cost me? Rough estimate anyways

    Thanks!

dynomax sells the i pipe and over axle piece for 100 bucks.. you would need a custom S pipe from the cat to the i pipe if you wanted a true "Catback"

i have the three inch pipe to my flowmaster in my opinions that makes the exhaust for a 3.8 but thats just mine you can get the replacement 3 inch pipe from a v8 at advanced auto parts or a place lie that and it will come just a little short to connect to the cat but a good muffler shop can weld it on with no problems
not quite sure how to make up for the small gap with 3 inch cause its a small area and the place that did it for me couldnt bend 3 inch pipe. the caost for me was 87.95 i think its been a while and it was from the 93 to 97 body style if i remember correctly just go up and ask a guy that works ther and ask if he can geta 3 icn hpipe for you.

I have a 3 inch mandrel bent I pipe with stock cat and stock S pipe. Exhaust shop just made an adapter to fit. Most shops should be able to do the same sort of thing.

except for where it comes up over the rear end and curves toward the muffler, and the s bend out of the cat then after that its straightens till the arch over the axle

I didn't know you called the bend over the axle part of the I-pipe. All I need is the s and a straight pipe to the axle.

i dont know how to take care of the s bend but you can go to an advanced autopart store an dget the part up to the axle for 50 bucks i think the s bend to the converter looks difficult to get in caue its so close but i dont know for sure

I'm buying two 45 degree mandrell bent pipes and using that as my s.

                      where from and what size?

i know this is the wrong spot for this but how are those direct hits working for you cause i was considering that as well.
