  • Cold Air Intake

Just bought a 1998 Firebird 2 days ago. It has a 3.8L v6 and 5 speed manual tranny. I"m new to this one, so fill me in and please bare with me. I have been tryin to fix up my 2000 malibu and make it unusuall to see. I have added some struts and rims and a COLD AIR INTAKE, so i love the intake, is there one for my car. All i can find is up to 97 and the v8's, but not mine, Please help.

try here first cause you can find a lot there then check out theme cause they are good to use and deserve the spot light but will searching, you should come across a lot of companies that supply us with aftermarket parts. if your still having trouble finding places to buy or you want to know if you can get it cheaper, let us know of the places you have looked and we'll try to help.

I took the motor out of a 98 tahoe, a complete restore taking off the fuel injection and adding a 650 holly cfm four barrel. 350 horses and 410 lbs of torque, I bought the car when i was 15 and have worked on it for the past 5 years. My dad is currently serving in afghanistan for the army, he has been helpin me out with it, and we have it on lock down right now. I'll have to get ya some pics.

Thanks blldog, I found one at whisper motor sports or somethin like that, but it was pretty expensive.

generally they are. just so you know, you could always make your own for a lot cheaper. if you didnt come across this in your search, look up home made cold air intake or free mods.
