  • Port and Polish question.

If you all can, look at my post over at another site. I posted pictures of a Port and Polished upper intake I recieved. Does not look to good to me, and to others...

What exactly is the problem? Looks like they did the work they advertised. The exterior may be a little dirty, but that doesn't have anything to do with P&P and you can clean it up.

They look polished, but not ported. It looks like you can still see the gasket marks where it should be ported to.

It is dirty, but they did for sure touch the intake. Take a look at a stock one if you can and you will see the difference.
Lay a gasket over to see if it lines up nicely.

It looks polished and I agree that they probably did not port it all that much check out my cardomain and see what my intakes look. You will see that the top intake has been matched to the gaskets and flare out farther. http://www.cardomain.com/ride/804031/1

thanks for insight...I had a heck of a time recieving this, and paid 150$ extra for the port and polish....alot of people here says it even looks rough for being polished.

            enough to complain?

I'd complain. They should have ported first, then polished, and taken the polishing further than they did so far.
