  • pacesetter headers, coated or not?

i've searched, but wasn't helped as much as i wanted...

should i get my pacesetter headers coated (when i buy them), and why, what are the benefits, in real terms... (i hear they make ur exhaust sound a lot better, + abotu 7hp or so for nontubular manifolds like mine)

    thanks a lot

coat the headers inside and out benifits more horse power, cooler under hood temp, no rust, great appearance and clean up for shows, rememeber the more heat you can keep in the tube and going out the end the more smoother and consistant horse power

Yea go with the coated ones.. i bought uncoated then guy who is installing them told me to get them coated because since i live in michigan the snow and salt on the roads will rust the heck out of them pretty quick.. so instead of paying $100 more for coated from company im paying $140 to get them coated from shop couple miles from my house, which will prolly be alot better.

Definitely get them coated. It'll look tons better, plus reduce the underhood temps.

I also strongly suggest the coated headers.
