I am new to this hole message board thing so I had a question. How would the 80 series flows sound on my 1995 3.4L camaro??? Will I get any horse power from this? I am just going to change the muffler[s]. Thanks again I need all the in put i can get!!! Oh P.S Some one told me that the 3.4L has a deeper sound then the 3.8L with the same exhaust? is that true?
i have a single outlet 2.5" flowmaster, and it sounds good/great at idle, up to 3000 rpm's it's loud, and if I stright on mash it, it sounds like rice. Depends on if you mash it or gradually work it's way up.
I plan on adding some appearence before the stereo goes in and adding a borla exhaust tip. I did so on my girlfriends toyota and it looks nicer. I dunno if it's worth $60 installed or not, but all apearence things cost $$$
IMHO, flowmasters are great for the price, but there is better out there. Costs more, but you get what you pay for (hehe hence I didn't pay for mine, hehe happy valentines day!) hehe..
the 3.8L is a 90 degree engine and the 3.4L is a 60 degree engine , people tend to think the 60 degree engines sound better. you will only need one muffler, since you only have one I pipe (the exhaust pipe from the cat to the muffler). as for a horsepower gain , not noticible, if you were to upgrade everything from the cat back , then you might notice a difference

The 80 series on my 94 3.4 is loud as hell. I mean, I've gotten pulled over for it several times. But I also have no cat. I installed it myself, but to do it, it required some crafty welding.
I'd get the muffler, it sounds mean, it turns heads.....

Haven’t done anything on the Camaro, but put LEDs on my truck headlights . And my oil pressure sensor went out on the truck so going to fix that this...
