no, won't help much. It looks like it only replaces where the filter is. Half the problem is the piece that goes directly into the throtle body. It doesn't go straight in, it's all kinked and sh*t. That's what makes the SLP CAI work so good. It makes a straight shot from the filter to the throttle body.

From the looks of it, its a $5 piece of rubber from a home improvement store and a $20 ricer (all show, no flow) filter from Pep Boys or something.
One thing to think about when looking at intake systems set up like that one; get in your car, drive around for 30 min, open hood, and you will most likely be hit by a heat wave as all tht hot air in the engine bay escapes. Now think about it, the filter sitting wide open in that hot engine bay, sucking in all that hot air, that's NO cold air intake! Trust me, I've made on just like that. The stock air box sucks in what fresh air is available from the wheel well through its small opening and the rest is hot air. A lot of people don't believe this but its my opinion, my experience, and common sense.
If you look at the SLP cold air intake, the two filter sit under where the stock air box is now. It also comes with a plastic piece to insulate the filters' location from the hot engine bay. IMO the SLP intake is by far the best for a 93-97 f body.
