  • Headers Question?

    I am going to put my headers on ina couple weeks and i realized that i lost the pipe circled below in the pic and also my gaskets :( . I was wondering where i could get either of them.

    You might try calling Pacesetter and ask them for a replacement part, otherwise you'll need to have something fabricated.

    As for the gaskets I think they were no big loss. The Pacesetter ones are paper, and I believe most people recommend getting NAPA gaskets.

      ok.thanks...Do you know what that pipe would be called?

        It's the driver's-side section of the Y-pipe that bolts to the header collector. They make it in 2 pieces so that it's easier to install and the slip-joint allows for some play in case things don't line up perfectly.

          I wouldn't waste time for pacesetter to get you another, I'd ask them the dimentions of it and get one made ... a lot quicker in the long run, plus it's just a flanged 90 degree bend...IMO
          \'97 Firebird 3.8 ... 1/4 mile = 12.50 (minutes)
