Depends on how far towards the TB it sits. May be too close for dryer ducting to be effective.Matt

http://www.lmperformance.com/4163/13.html you could work something around with that. maybe take your factory lid, cut the bellows off, cut to fit the whole in the back and cut the top off it. put some rubber around the edges and see what you get. you could pretty easily make it look and work like the voolant kit.

good luck and if you do or do not get it to work, let us know cause im sure someone with a ram-air hood will want to try it.

If you cut holes in your lid won't the air come in over the filter, in effect bypassing it? I don't think you want that. Also you have to be careful with how direct you have that air coming in the scoops, unless you never drive the car in the rain.1994 Firebird 3.4
15.65 @ 86.8
funkz.net/firebird
Timeslips

what do you mean come in over the filter? do you mean from the back? it should be sealed all the way around except for the inlet ofcourse.
also, i will put money down on the bet that it is impossible to even come close to hydroing an engine from rain with a setup like this. the only side effects i can see from rain is the filter getting wet but with a K&N, thats not an issue cause they can get wet without any damage being caused.
