found a good idea.. now just one last question

as some of you know, i've been trying to get a catco hiflo cat installed on my 2002 bird but it's illegal in cali to change the CAT unles its a '95 or older or needs replacing

some one said to unbolt the i-pipe and take it in and say it's for a 95 bird and that I want my highflow cat on it


Now, I can't really see under the car where the cat is well enough, but if I have the cat welded onto the I-pipe of my exhaust, will everything hook up easily w/o welding when I get home to put it back in?

I have borla exhaust btw

Stick a screwdriver in the cat or cut it off and take your car to a shop. It will definetly need to be replaced then ;)

Tell them you think your car is gutted and you want to replace it to be safe.
