well I need to make my car very quiet...whats the highest flowing muffler, thats still quiet..since I have to do this Im prolly gonna get a cutout...eventually...so either a part # from gmpartsdirect.com ... or anything cheap and quiet..im gonna keep my 3 in pipes so I dont have to replace everything

just get a cut-out so you can keep it quiet when around the rents and make it REAL LOUD at other times. Get what I'm saying...

I have a stock muffler if you want to buy it from me. It just sits in my garage right now. I really don't care how much I get for it, I just want to get rid of it. Let me know.

the y87 muffler is fairly quiet i've heard but probably flows better than stock.

ya, but they sound terrible. i personally like the ws6/ss catback's better than any--sound wise. no kidding either, they are a great quiet sound, not as quiet as v6 stock, but they sound very nice at all rpms.

don't do this. cut-outs sound good at low rpms but not at WOT. there are a few maro's in my apt complex with cutouts open all the time and i'm always thinking "omg, that sounds terrible." i had no muffler for a little while and it, too, sounded crappy. go with an ss/ws6 catback and you'll be pleased...if you want a cutout down the road, you can put it there.
